Why can't I message another member straight away?

Unfortunately you can't just message anyone you see on the app. You can only message another member when there has been a mutual connection. A mutual connection is created when both people have agreed to connect with each other. You can view all of your mutual connections under 'New Connections' in the Messages tab of the app.
